I was telling you and daddy about how you and I are going to be going over to Aunt Sandy's on Saturday to spend the night and you asked what time we were going over there. I said "I don't know baby". You said "Oh c'mon, you gotta know, when are we going over there and I mean pacifically"

You are still having a bit of a problem saying 'specifically' the first time, but it's okay, its more cute than you know when you say it with such innocence like you do.

Oh my Xaynee. You are asleep near me right now and I have been staring at you for sometime. You are so beautiful. When I look at you all I can think about is how much I love you. I adore you. More than you could ever know for its impossible to express the depth of my love for you to anyone. I hit the kid lottery the day you were born and I couldn't feel luckier.

Dear Xayne,

Today we had your 8th birthday party. You and the following people went go-cart racing:

Jackson – Ethan – Eric – Brandon – Chance – Nathan – Adam

First everyone played in the arcade and then we had pizza. After pizza you and your best buddies began the race. It was so funny to see you take off baby. The cart went forward and your head went backward. I was glad when you got off that we agreed that not a single one of you were as good as you thought you were going to be that first lap lol. I’m so glad that everyone had a good time, but I am especially glad that you had a good time.

We took you to the mall afterward and bought you Guitar Hero World Tour as that is what you have been wanting. Daddy and I can hardly wait to play together with you. I know we will have a great time just like we do playing the Wii together.

You’re a gift from God baby and I am so very luck to have you. I hope you have a wonderful night.

Dear Xayne,

Hello, Baby!

I am really excited for you, and a bit anxiety ridden only in that I never hold any secrets from you!

You don’t know it but daddy and I bought you a new Nintendo set. You have every other game station out there, X-Box, PS, PSP, etc so why not have this one too. It’s the only one you can play Super Mario Brothers on and I love that game, you do too!

Anyway we will be giving it to you in a few days as a surprise, I hope you like it as much as I think you’re going to, anyway, I must go to bed now, see you tomorrow!

I love you baby!

I tell you all the time that I am so glad that you are my son. I thank God everyday, many times a day, for everything, but especially for the fact that of all people, I am the lucky, lucky person that gets to be your mother.

Well, today is going to be a very exciting day for you big boy…..as you know, a 6th grader, Grace Stagg, won first place in Sara Lee’s Ultimate Lunch Switcheroo essay contest. The prize was a $5,000.00 makeover for the school and a visit from Corbin Bleu from High School Musical. You are SO excited and hoping to get an autograph

Hello, Xaynee.

So I had to walk and get you from school today as daddy had to be somewhere. Once I picked you up and you realized that we were walking home it made you really happy - you said that you could lead us home. With how confident you were, I pretended not to know the way. Sure enough you led us all the way here, what would I have done without you if I hadn’t of known the way?

It gives me great pleasure to see the sense of accomplishment flash across your face, I love that you are confident but not at all cocky. I am so proud of you and quite content that at this point, I have no doubt you’ll be anything but a super success whatever you choose to do with yourself later in life.

Hi, Baby!

Well today is Tuesday and your second day back to school from winter break. You should have seen yourself last night, you were so tired though you tryed to pretend that you weren’t. Daddy and I told you you would be, but you insisted on staying up until midnight, silly

You received some test scores yesterday, you are up to 115 words for reading fluency, you excel in spelling, thanks to me, and math, thanks to daddy We are both so proud of you baby, we cannot express it enough.

Stay handsome and smart! I have to go to bed, I’m REALLY tired.

Dear Xayne,

Hi, Baby.

Oh my god, I love you so much!

I can’t tell you how funny you are, we were walking back from the liquor store today and you were cracking me up so much I had tears in my eyes. You love to do this hick accent and say zany things with it. I find it so humorous that you are only six yet of all the people I know, you entertain me the most - I find you hilarious and I can see that you enjoy making me laugh - thank you! Your sarcasm well, quite surprisingly, it’s up to my level and I love it as long as it’s not directed at me. Your equisite use of it is mind-boggling and also funny because you, like I, have the ability to offend people in a way that takes them a minute to register or they simply never get it. You know you have this ability and you utilize it so cunningly. I find you to be an awesome, awesome, little boy on the rise.

Anyhow, I always get off track raving about you but today is Monday, the first day back to school in three weeks, lucky duck! When daddy and I were kids we only got two weeks off. I hope you have a great day today, you already expressed your happiness in getting to re-unite with your little buddies.
